Beauty Steal:
So some of you expressed a desire to be kept informed of our sale items (they change like every two weeks and are usually half priced). We just started running the Smashbox DNA mascara for $9 instead of $19. I haven't tried it, but my fellow beauty buffs say it's kind of tricky to use because the brush has to be used in three different directions to get the look and not be clumpy. I don't know if this one is worth it, but FYI.

Skin Care Fave:
We do, however, have this really awesome set by Ole Henriksen for $35, as a $103 value. I've used the whole set exclusively for a week, and love what it's doing for my skin. Even my clients are commenting on it pretty much every time, which didn't used to be the case.
It has a good size cleanser (3-4 months), which you only need to use a tiny bit of and gets your make-up off, but not eye make-up, good sizes (10-20 treatments each, depending on use) of a mask, and a walnut scrub--<3 it!, and sample (1-2 month) sizes of the night treatment gel (which is amazing), day vitamin C treatment--use an SPF with this, an awesome moisturizer that's got an illumination property to it, and an okay eye cream.
This is a good set for dry and oily types, but I'd avoid the vitamin C treatment during the day if you're oily, and rotate between it and the gel at night. The mask is awesome (both Mom and I loved it,) and can be used all the way up to your eyes. I could tell where I didn't put it the next morning because I avoided my eye area, and it was a lot duller than the rest of my face. I am also very sensitive, and have had no bad reactions.

Color Fave:
We are also starting to get our Christmas sets (my fave!) and Bliss has some great ones, but my fave so far is this Too Faced set. It's 39.50 and has fabulous packaging with 9 great pigmented shadows, a small size of their awesome eye shadow primer, a blush and bronzer that I love for all skin tones, removable mini-mirror and three lip glosses that give good shine, but not a lot of color. We won't have these left by Christmas, I'm betting, so if you want them for Christmas, inform your Santa soon!
